Many public blockchains make transaction data visible to anyone who can inspect the network. An address may not contain a person’s name, but activity can sometimes be linked through public records, exchange data or other information.

Good privacy habits

Avoid publishing wallet addresses unnecessarily, review permissions granted to applications, and understand what information a service collects before using it.
